COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Effective January 1, 2003, real property appraisers must take the 7-Hour National USPAP Update Course, or its equivalent, at least once every two years in order to maintain their license or certification. This program has been developed for The Appraisal Foundation by the Appraisal Standards Board and the Appraisal Sponsors. It is required to fulfill Appraisal Institute designation and continuing education requirements. It is required to fulfill New York State (E/S) continuing education requirements.

TOPICS:
Brief background of the Appraisal Foundation, Appraisal Standards Board, and Appraiser Qualifications Board; Uniform Standards of Professional Practice including Departure Provision and reporting formats. This course updates all appraisers about the changes in USPAP.

PREREQUISITES:
This USPAP update course is for students who have successfully completed the 15-hour National USPAP Course, Appraisal Institute Course 410.

TUITION:
Tuition for this program including course materials, lunch and coffee breaks is $195.00 for Appraisal Institute Members, and $245.00 for all others.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT:
Full attendance and successful completion of the course qualifies Appraisal Institute Members for 7 credit hours with the Appraisal Institute New York State requires the 7-Hour USPAP Update Course once every two years for all licensed or certified appraisers. State continuing education credit is granted only once every two years. Seven (7) CE credits have been granted.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Any cancellation made before the shipping of materials takes place will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7-14 days prior to seminar will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to seminar will forfeit payment unless a replacement is provided. Students will not receive their refund until the seminar materials are returned to stock.
